THANKFUL THURSDAY – ISAIAH 9:2

The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined.

PRECIOUS FATHER, in the name of JESUS, we thank you, O GOD, for sending us your great light – your son Jesus Christ. Without Jesus we are in total darkness. Without Jesus we dwell in the shadow of death but because of Jesus we can walk in the light.  Because of Jesus, even though we walk in the shadow of death, we fear no evil for you are with us.  We praise your holy name as we celebrate this gift during this Christmas season, in JESUS’ name, AMEN.

THANKFUL THURSDAY – ISAIAH 9:6

For unto u8s a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor; the mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace

PRECIOUS FATHER, in the name of JESUS, we thank you, O GOD, for giving us your son, JESUS, who is wonderful – a counselor we can go to seek advice in any situation. We thank you that he is all powerful, our father forever and ever.  We thank you that we can have peace because our trust in is the prince of peace. Thank you for the gift of your son, JESUS, in JESUS’ name, AMEN.

FAITHFUL FRIDAY – ACTS 3:19

¹⁹ Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.

PRECIOUS FATHER, we thank you, O GOD for times of refreshing that will come from the presence of the LORD. It won’t always be like this. God will perfect that concerning us in JESUS’ name, AMEN.

You have kept me all of 2017 to walk into a new birthday.  We thank you for your grace and your mercy, for keeping each of us safe and giving each of us your daily bread.  You have carried us through our trials and tribulations and you have always been there at our greatest time of need.  Thank you for being the wonderful, great GOD that you are, in JESUS’ name we pray, AMEN.

PRECIOUS FATHER, in the name of JESUS, we thank you, O GOD, that you are a prayer hearing and a prayer answering GOD,  and we know, today, that you are yet hearing and answering the prayers of your children everywhere. Thank you, kind sir, for this whole year that you’ve heard and answered our prayer, and in this month of thanksgiving our hearts and our mouths are filled with praise and thanksgiving unto thee in JESUS’ name, AMEN.

PRECIOUS FATHER, in the name of JESUS, as we celebrate this Christmas season we do so remembering it’s not all about the gifts we give each other but it’s about remembering the special gift you have given to each of us – your son JESUS CHRIST – the greatest most precious gift we will ever receive.  We thank you, O GOD, for this gift and that because of it we are no longer lost to sin, death and hell but will one day live with you, in heaven, forever.  JESUS is the best present anyone could receive.  Thank you in JESUS’ name, AMEN.
